Story:
I wanted to write something deep and meaningful to go with this painting. But the truth is that I just wanted to paint a dragon, because I love dragons. And I wanted to use red and orange against blue because I'd always been told that was an awful color scheme... and I wanted to see if I could make it work.
Isn't it funny how eager people are to tell you that something won't work? Or that you have to have a reason to enjoy the things you love?
Maybe that's the key to happiness in life, finding beauty in what everyone says is awful. Or maybe it's just enjoying the things you love with no strings attached.
I painted a dragon made out of fire and ice, and it makes me happy.
